Deadline report that Clancy Brown cast in John Wick 4. Brown will star opposite Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane. I don’t know about you readers, but I want Brown to be one of the people running the High Table. Brown is just so cool and almost instantly lifts anything he’s in to another level. Seriously, go look back and realize what a tremendous actor Brown is. John Wick 4 director Chad Stahelski feels the same.
“I have been a fan of Clancy Brown’s since I can remember. To have him be a part of this project is an honor. He will make a perfect addition to the World of John Wick!”
John Wick: Chapter 4 is written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch and produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Stahelski and executive produced by Reeves and Louise Rosner. Production is already underway in France, Germany, and Japan.
Brown will next be seen in the new final Season of Dexter. One assumes Brown will be playing a serial killer, or bad guy of some sort, as that is his forte. In fact, for me, though voicework only, Brown was the best ever Lex Luthor to date. I’d have loved to have seen Brown get the role in live-action because he’d be great as Luthor on the big screen as well. Though, not all Brown’s roles are evil, just horrible, like Mr. Krabs, who Brown voiced in SpongeBob SquarePants for many years. Though the chef’s kiss is that Brown appeared in one of my (will never change) top 5 movies of all time, The Shawshank Redemption.

Can we get Brown as the new Luthor for DC? Can Kevin Feige find a role for Brown in the MCU? Most importantly, is Stahelski going to use Brown somehow in the Highlander reboot he’s developing? Yes, it’s fair to say I want more Clancy Brown in everything. How can you go wrong with Clancy Brown?
