A new report this weekend seems to give confirmation that Boba Fett is in The Mandalorian Season 2. Not only that, but as we suspected, would be played by Temuera Morrison. Last week we shared a story from the folks at KRT that Morrison would be playing Rex in The Mandalorian Season 2. At the time I speculated that he must be playing both Rex and Boba Fett, because we were sure Fett was in Mando.
For me, this is the smoking gun on that front. Not only have we seen what looks like Boba Fett’s armor in The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer, now we have confirmation from Morrison’s own agents. The Ronin ran a story this weekend, and well, I’ll just quote them here shall I? Links attached to Showcast page.
‘The credit and listing comes from a portal from Temuera Morrison’s New Zealand agency Robert Bruce Agency that links to a CV on Showcast (the latter spotted by Making Star Wars) where it clearly states his role is Boba Fett on the series. This is more official than a random website since his own agency is putting this CV together on his behalf.’

As you can see, considering this is Morrison’s own agency who update this information, it seems like a smoking gun to me. This is not surprising news in any way, to me. However, there were many fans who thought Fett might not actually show up at all, even if his armor did.
It now seems like Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) will be wearing Fett’s armor as Lawman of Freetown on Tattooine. And yet, we see Mando riding away with said armor in the trailer? What’s the chances he is returning this armor to Fett? Pretty high I’d say given we know Fett is definitely showing up now.
