The WandaVision Trailer Is A Trip Down Fifties Television

The WandaVision trailer secretly dropped this evening. Disney marketing has really changed its strategy since the pandemic started.  In years past we would get a big announcement leading up to a trailer premiere.  Instead just like The Mandalorian trailer, Disney decided to quietly release the first trailer for WandaVision during the Emmy’s.  While there was some speculation that Disney would wait until 2021 to release its Marvel slate now that doesn’t seem to be the case.  You can check out the trailer below along with some images that Disney+ released.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, reprising their roles as Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch and Vision. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

There hasn’t been an announcement of the exact premiere date but it will be before the end of the year.  WandaVision will be the first Marvel Studios production made for Disney+ with more to come like Falcon And The Winter Soldier. We will have more of a breakdown of all the Easter eggs later.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for WandaVision or any of the other Marvel Studio shows headed to Disney+?  Let us know in the comment section below.
