Corey Stoll rumored to be MODOK in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania! This Barside Buzz began on Daniel Richtman’s Patreon. You can see this rumor being covered on social media below also. However since this initial report, there are are one or two leakers such as The GWW who have backed this claim up. Stoll was rumored to appear in Quantumania, though many assumed as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket. Then there were separate rumors we covered that MODOK was making his debut in the movie also. It seems these rumors could be one and the same. One wonders if Kang has done something to Cross which results in him transforming into what we imagine MODOK to be?

Given the way Darren Cross ended up in Ant-Man, it was always hard to say whether he was deceased or just trapped somewhere in the Quantum Realm. I think perhaps we may have our answer.

How this relates to Kang the Conqueror who is played by Jonathan Major is unknown? However we do know Kang, and not MODOK is considered the main antagonist. It just makes sense to me that if MODOK is in the movie, he likely works for Kang. There has to be some connection with the character of Darren Cross though or else why use Corey Stoll? For a voice role you can hire anyone, so the fact they’ve gone after Stoll tells me there is a connection. IF this Barside Buzz turns out to be legit of course. Always dose yourself up with some salt before buying into any unconfirmed rumor. Though my spoiler senses are tingling on this one I have to say.
