The Comic Stash I December Comics To Add To Your Holiday List

Well, ready or not it is December and time for Christmas shopping and getting together with loved ones. But you find yourself wanting some alone time and catching up on some great comics. Here are my comics that catch my attention to read for The Comic Stash December edition. I pick titles every month that may be a great one. Or, maybe I feel they may be worth your time because of the artist, writer, or topic.

Again, these are just my picks so please if you find something that suit your fancy get it. With that paper shortage hitting the world and of all the places comic books, a lot of company are not doing second prints. So, if you see one that seems worth your time make sure to garb it! Otherwise, it may get sold out, and you will regret it later. One other thing to remember: some titles may change release dates, but as now these are the dates I have for these titles. Let’s check out The Comic Stash December picks!

This series will do cross overs in other title as we see Wilson Frisk deciding to take out as many superheroes as he can with his army of super villains. Should be a fun read as we get to see some great villains taking on key heroes in the Marvel Universe.

Another new title from Marvel is, Captain America and Iron Man #1 by Derek Landy with art by Angel Unzueta. Both heroes do a team-up to track down a prisoner who escapes that leads to a bigger story.

Another Marvel mini-series coming out is King Conan #1 of 6 by Jason Aaron with art by Mahmud Asrar.

Week Five December 29, 2021

Rounding off the last week of The Comic Stash December edition, I notice when there are five weeks in a month the last week is very heavy with titles. However, with four weeks, the last week is not as heavy. I do not know why that is, but something I notice now that I do more of these monthly columns. Marvel Comics has Devil’s Reign #2 of 6 by Chip Zdarsky with art by Marco Checchtto out this week.

Also, from Marvel this week is Timeless #1 by Jed MacKay with art by Greg Land, Mark Bagley, and Kev Walker. This story will follow the adventures of Kang the Conqueror.

Scout Comics has a new mini-series, Cult of Ikarus # 1 of 4, that is by Jenna Lynn Wright with art by Karl Slominski. This is a story about Vampires, and magic and punk rock that should be a great one to pick up.

Image Comics is following up on their great hot series Stray Dogs with Stray Dogs: Dog Days #1 of 2  by Tony Fleecs with art by Trish Forstner. Should be a great read for those who love the first series.
