Fans of the CW’s Arrow and The 100 may be pleased to learn that spin-offs for both of the network’s popular series are still a possibility. Arrow has already wrapped up, while The 100‘s final season will premiere late this month..
The news comes from Mark Pedowitz, CW President and CEO, who said the potential series are, “Very much alive.” You can check out what else Pedowitz had to say during a call below.
“They are very much in active discussions to see what we can do. I’ve had many discussions with Warner Bros, we have a strategy involved, hopefully we can pull it off,”
Arrow was the starting point for CW’s small-screen DC universe, which now includes Supergirl, Flash, Black Lightning, and Legends of Tomorrow. The shared universe has turned out to be immensely popular among viewers.
I watched Arrow until somewhere in the fourth season, when someone, threw someone off a cliff if I remember correctly. I enjoyed the show, but it eventually got pushed to the back of my queue and after that, I simply lost interest. As for The 100, I watched maybe four or five episodes but decided it just wasn’t for me. And anymore, I just don’t find many shows on Network TV to be worth my time, excluding sitcoms.
