Dads documentary shows the true meaning of fatherhood.
Bryce Dallas Howard follows her father’s footsteps perfectly. Like her father, Ron Howard, she is an accomplished director herself with many short films under her belt. Finally, she opened eyeballs to her breakthrough directorial project with Disney Plus’s The Mandolarian with Chapter 4: Sanctuary. It proved to the world she can shift into the world of directing.
Apple TV+’s Dads will be her feature film directorial debut in the form of a documentary. It is a heartfelt and humorous documentary that celebrates the joys and challenges in parenting in today’s world. Featuring six extraordinary fathers from across the globe, the film offers a firsthand glimpse into the trials and tribulations of modern-day parenting through revealing interviews, rare home-movie footage, viral videos, and thoughtful testimonials from some of Hollywood’s funniest celebrities, including Jude Apatow, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris, Ron Howard, Ken Jeong, Jimmy Kimmel, Hasan Minaj, Conan O’Brien, Patton Oswalt, Will Smith and more.

Despite adding director to her resume, Bryce Dallas Howard isn’t quite ready to quit her day job at this time. She returns to the next installment of the next chapter of Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World franchise with Jurassic World: Dominion, which has a release date of June 11 next year.
Dads is a definite viewing with your father on Father’s Day. Often, fathers are forgotten side in the importance of their parental roles. The documentary serves as a fitting tribute to fathers around the world.
