According to the latest Marvel Barside Buzz Dafne Keen set to reprise role as X23 in Deadpool 3 plus the Nova series becomes a movie. These claims come from Daniel RPK‘s Patreon service. RPK has around a +70% hit rate for Marvel scoops, though that has been going up lately.
As you know Dafne Keen played X23 in Logan when she was just a child. Keen is now an adult and her last child role in His Dark Materials kind of transitioned her into the adult world as it did with her character. As we know, Deadpool 3 features Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and rumors are that the search is on for the Multiverse’s ultimate Wolverine. Even if it ends up being a small cameo, having Keen show up feels like it fits in Deadpool 3.
Don’t expect to hear anything official about this until the movie is released. I guess then we will know if Keen really is involved. (Unless she gets spotted on set before then.)

Second from RPK is that he has heard what I think is good news regarding the oft rumored Nova project. Last we heard Nova was to be a limited series on Disney+. However, with a desire to reduce costs on streaming I’m not sure Nova can be done that cheap. Well, RPK has heard the plan is now to rejig the project into a Nova movie. Which, in my opinion is the right move to make.
Nova is a character that seems to have been poised to be dropped since Avengers: Infinity War. The off-screen annihilation of the Nova Corps by Thanos is the perfect background to Richard Rider becoming Nova. Plus, without the Guardians of the Galaxy currently in hiatus it would be good to have another cosmic hero out there.
Still you know how Hollywood works. Not all plans lead to fruition. Ergo, even if this is a true plan, it may not actually happen.
