With filming currently underway, a new set photo proves some of Daredevil: Born Again takes place during The Blip. As you know, Infinity War‘s climax takes place in 2018 and The Blip is a period of around 5 years when Endgame picks back up after the opening. The set photo, which you can see shared below on social media, shows a date on a Church poster.

[UPDATE]
An eagle eyed fan decided to do some digging on Google Maps. It turns out this sign was on the some church back in 2021. In other words. It is entirely likely this was not actually a movie prop but simple a sign left up for years in the real location. If that is the case, then there are actually no signs pointing to Born Again being set even partially during The Blip. Apologies readers. However, this looked so much like a filming prop, no one could have known. Well done to the digger.
That has actually been up since the start of the pandemic. If you go back far enough you will see that the church has just been lazy and has not changed it since putting it up. https://t.co/sw7ZPWifg0 pic.twitter.com/yo8Pq1RVWs

Original Story Below
The year 2020 would mean only two years into The Blip. Which of course means that Matt Murdock himself was not Blipped. However one wonders if this could explain the absence of his friends Foggy and Karen. Both actors are said to have not been asked to return for Born Again. This could also explain why things have changed for Wilson Fisk. If it has been 6 years or more since the end of Daredevil Season 3.
It has been hinted within Hawkeye that Fisk was not Blipped and was therefore able to play a role in Maya’s life and set Clint Barton on his path of destruction. However, it’s also still possible that anything that happened in Daredevil S1-3 is no longer canon, as it happened in another Multiverse.
I guess we shall see how that plays out only when the series is released?

Daredevil: Born Again is lengthy. The upcoming series will be a whopping 18-episodes long. That’s very different from any other MCU series we’ve had so far. It’s also a series which has more of an anthology feel, as per Kevin Feige himself.
I guess now we know at least some of the stories we will get in Daredevil: Born Again are set during The Blip.
