Daredevil Vs Bullseye – Charlie Cox Wants A Rematch

Wilson Bethel returns as Bullseye in Daredevil: Born Again, does this make the show Daredevil Season 4 after all?

Charlie Cox is keen on a rematch of Daredevil Vs Bullseye. Of course Season 3 of the Daredevil show ended with a confrontation between Cox’s Daredevil and Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye. However this always felt like round 1 in a 12 round contest. Sadly at that time Daredevil was cancelled, so fans figured we’d never see round 2. However with the Daredevil shows now coming to Disney+ and Charlie Cox a canon Daredevil in the MCU, who knows?

Charlie Cox recently chatted with ComicBook.com and told them he is also keen on a rematch of Daredevil Vs Bullseye. Cox was asked what team up’s he wants to see for this character going forward.

“I really like the Black Widow, the Daredevil/Black Widow stuff. That relationship is really funny to me, I don’t know why. I find it really funny and sexy at the same time,” Cox said. “Other than that, it’s difficult. The obvious one is Spider-Man, isn’t it? That is the one, I would have to get more time with Bullseye. We just touched on that story, and we were just gearing up for it before we weren’t allowed to continue. I really enjoyed working with Wilson Bethel on that character. There are so many, but I think the obvious one is, it would be really cool to get some Daredevil/Spider-Man stuff, more stuff.”

Daredevil Spider-Man would be cool, but for the future of a show centered on Matt Murdock, I think Bethel’s Bullseye is more important. I can’t see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man guest starring in a season of Daredevil, I could absolutely see Daredevil show up again in another Spider-Man movie though.

As for what the next plans are for any continuation of Daredevil, Cox claims he is unsure? However he is also confident Marvel Studios can deliver. This is what Cox said when talking about whether Daredevil could be retooled as a PG-13 show?

“I wouldn’t put it past the folks at Marvel to be able to accomplish that. I’m such a fan of everything they’ve done so far, I wouldn’t underestimate them at all,” the actor suggests. “So if they wanted to make a more PG version of Daredevil, I back them to find a way to do where it feels totally in keeping with everything we’ve done. And maybe there’s a little less blood, maybe there’s a little whatever, but I back them to do it.”

I guess though with Daredevil 1-3 appearing uncut on Disney+ with parental controls, there really is no reason why Marvel Studios could not keep Daredevil as an R-rated show?

What do you think about a Daredevil Vs Bullseye rematch? Would you like to see the character come back in a Season 4 of Daredevil? Thoughts below as always.
