In a recent interview David Harbour (Thunderbolts*) talks about witnessing iconic scenes in Avengers: Doomsday. The wide ranging interview with Variety covers a lot about Harbour’s professional and personal life. Feel free to read the full thing at the link above.
However, what will be more relevant to LRM readers is the fact Harbour appears in Avengers: Doomsday, hitting theatres this December.
‘Harbour and Florence Pugh, shooting together, witnessed a mythical Marvel sequence — “the moment when said character does said thing that you’ve seen before,” he says. (Harbour will not divulge, but I’m guessing Thor will catch his hammer in this film.) “We were just pinching ourselves that we get a front-row seat to this process.”’
“It’s fun for us to be in it and do our bit, but also have a front-row seat to all these characters we’ve loved for years and watch them do this stuff. It’s just a blast”
Can I guess that maybe it was Chris Evans Steve Rogers saying Avengers Assemble? It’s a reasonable guess to make, but there are other candidates I guess.

Harbour’s character Red Guardian is of course now a member of the new Avengers, who all return in Doomsday. They are of course accompanied by heroes from their own Universe and two others. If you’re not too sure what I mean by three Universes? Well, this has been on the Disney website since CinemaCon.
“In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
