Ever since the first season of DC Universe’s live action series of Titans came out in October of last year, we have been anticipating the arrival of Nightwing on our screens. We have witnessed Brenton Thwaites take on Dick Grayson’s journey from Batman’s sidekick Robin to what is becoming Nightwing in the season finale of the second season of the series. In the beginning he still wore his classic Robin costume, which he ended up burning. Since then he has had to face his demons that haunt him due to the death of Jericho, which he believes is his fault. After a series of events, which I will not spoil, he now seems ready to take the next step in his journey, a step that will transform him into Nightwing.

With that in mind today during a special press event, DC Universe unveiled the highly anticipated super suit. Executive producer and showrunner Greg Walker and specialty costume designer Laura Jean Shannon were there to unveil the suit. Along with the Nightwing suit the costumes for Titans characters’ Robin, Wonder Girl, Aqualad, Hawk, Dove, Ravenger and Deathstroke were also on display at the event. The Nightwing suit was designed by Shannon with the support of her team. Then it was built by Creative Character Engineering. The suit will be officially making it’s debut on the season finale episode of Titans next week on Friday, November 29th, exclusively on DC Universe’s streaming service. This will be the first time that we ever see Nightwing as a live action character. Here you can also stream the rest of the episodes of the series if you need to catch up.

Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. It was developed by Akiva Goldsman & Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, based on the classic DC characters. Serving as executive producer are Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti, Greg Walker and Sarah Schechter.
