While reboots and revivals are all the rage these days, novel adaptations have long been a great source for films. The majority of the time a book reader will chime in commenting how the book is way better, and for the most part that would be true, simply because the story is more complete and nothing was cut for time.

Today, we hear the other side of the argument from a person who knows a thing or two about books, well, comic books at least. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld busted out with is opinion on one of the most beloved graphic novels of all time, Watchmen, and his words were pretty bold. You can check them out below.

“The movie is better than the book. Way better ending.”

I’ve said before, I’m not much of a book reader, I appreciate them for the stories, and the movies they bring us, but I just don’t have a lot of time, and was never a big book person as a child. I haven’t read the Watchmen book, but I do love the film and consider it at the top of my superhero film list. I did do a quick bit of reading to learn the difference between the endings, and I have to say, I’m conflicted on the matter.
