Get ready, dystopia fans, we got a big one in the works. According to THR, USA Network is hard at work adapting Aldous Huxley’s classic novel, Brave New World, for the small screen. But that’s not the real news, as this project has been in development for many years already as it is, and was picked up for a series in February. The news has more to do with the casting of the show.

The outlet states that Demi Moore has been cast to join Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s Alden Ehrenreich in this social dystopian series. Unlike the likes of 1984, this world isn’t only oppressed by its own laziness and pleasure-hungry-ness, which has led to a more realistic take on a world gone awry.

THR describes Ehrenreich’s John Savage as ” a young man raised outside the confines of the New World whose presence threatens to disrupt the rigid social order of the utopian New London.” Moore will be taking on the role as Linda, John’s mother. She will be joining Jessica Brown Findlay, Harry Lloyd, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen, Sen Mitsuji, Joseph Morgan, and Nina Sosanya.

Homecoming‘s David Wiener will be serving as writer and showrunner of the series.
