Dermot Mulroney on Character’s Loyalty in Final Season of Amazon’s Hanna [Exclusive Interview]

Dermot Mulroney in Amazon's Hanna

With Hanna and Utrax heading towards its ultimate showdown, Dermot Mulroney’s character John Carmichael must choose a side or else be in the sights of the crossfire.

As the second season’s main antagonist, Utrax’s John Carmichael must answer to a higher authority but is also being blackmailed by Marissa Wiegler to assist Hanna. Carmichael is certainly sandwiched between a rock and a hard place.

The final season stars Esmé Creed-Miles (Dark River, Jamie), Mireille Enos (If I Stay, World War Z), Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Young Guns), Adam Bessa (Extraction, Mosul), and Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Narc).

Here is the official synopsis:

Season three of Hanna continues the journey of an extraordinary young woman, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, who was created by the sinister organization Utrax and trained to be an assassin. Hanna is now secretly trying to destroy Utrax from the inside and free herself from its grasp with the help of her previous nemesis, former-CIA agent Marissa Eigler (Mireille Enos). Together they have coerced high-ranking Utrax agent John Carmichael (Dermot Mulroney) into aiding their mission, but her fellow young assassins, Sandy (Áine Rose Daly) and Jules (Gianna Kiehl), and new foes, including former military man and intelligence operative, Gordon Evans (Ray Liotta), are starting to suspect Hanna’s plot. As Hanna moves closer to her goal, she begins to uncover not only a world-changing agenda but the true power behind Utrax that stands between her and freedom.
