Destiny 2: ‘Season Of The Worthy’ Gameplay Reveal Trailer Is Here!

Resident Evil Producer joins Bungie. Probably to work on their Destiny

Today, so you can see below, saw the release of the latest trailer from game developers Bungie. This trailer ushers in a new season of content for Destiny 2. The PC, and console game is on its third year since release and this is the third Season to launch since the last major expansion ‘Forsaken’.

As per the trailer, ‘Season of the Worthy’ will see the players dealing with a new threat. The Cabal enemy has directed a planet-eating spaceship on a collision course with Earth. It seems like players will have to spend this season re-arming the powerful AI warmind Rasputin. One assumes that Rasputin will be the only thing powerful enough to shoot that massive space-ship out of the sky.

The new season will launch on March 10th. Players who already own the Season Pass for Destiny 2, own this expansion. However, the new seasonal expansions can also be purchased separately on an a la carte basis.

I must say my Destiny time has been limited recently, probably because we are at the end of a Season. I do own the Season Pass and will therefore be suiting up to see what goodies Bungie have in store for us this time. This previous Season was not loved by the fans, but let’s hope Bungie can deliver a more satisfying gameplay loop this time?

One addition fans are happy to have back is premium PvP activity, Trials of Osiris. The popular ‘Trials’ mode was disabled some time back, with Bungie admitting they got a lot wrong. Being a truly awful PvP player, I doubt I will get to see the new rewards for this game mode. However, you never know, a gamer can get lucky at times?

What do you think of the trailer for ‘Season of the Worthy’ and Destiny 2 in general? Leave your thoughts below as always.
