The Dexter revival series has added two new cast members in Oscar Wahlberg and Jamie Chung. Wahlberg joins the series as, Zach, a High School wrestling captain. Chung will play Molly, a well-known true-crime podcaster from Los Angeles. The two join a cast that includes Clancy Brown, Alano Miller, Julia Jones, and Michael Cyril Creighton,
Michael C. Hall is set to return as Dexter Morgan, one of the most interesting, albeit twisted protagonists ever seen on television.
Original showrunner Clyde Phillips returns for the 10-episode season. Marcos Siega, who directed nine episodes of the original series, will be behind the camera for 6 out of the revival’s 10 episodes.

For a period of time, Dexter was my favorite show. And even with the issues the show experienced in its later seasons, it still ranks fairly high on my list.
How things ended up for the series was just bizarre. I have no idea why Dexter, after surviving a hurricane, would agree to star in a live-action version of Bob the Builder? That is what was going on in the Season 8 finale, right? Either leave Dexter’s fate open and not confirm whether or not he made it out of the hurricane. Or get rid of the hurricane and just have him flee to the Pacific Northwest to be a lumberjack.
A description of the upcoming season can be found below.
“Set 10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the revival sees the character now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami.”
