On Monday, the production released a digital short across social media featuring stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. In the clip, the two actors debate over which of their posters should be the film’s primary poster. Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions also shared the video.

Disney’s Jungle Cruise is the latest theme park ride-turned-motion picture from the Mouse House. Previously, Disney started a successful franchise and suffered a misstep in 2003 with Pirates Of The Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion, respectively. This time around, the studio is putting its focus on the chemistry between Johnson and Blunt—as well as the former’s box office bankability and the latter’s current cinematic acclaim. Johnson’s films tend to become massive box office successes, while Blunt has received rave reviews (and a few awards) for her latest roles. Jaume Collet-Serra (House Of Wax, Orphan) commands the director’s chair for this project.
The synopsis for the film is as follows:
Set during the early 20th century, a riverboat captain named Frank takes a scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.
Disney’s Jungle Cruise will hit theaters nationwide on July 24.
