Donald Glover Releases Deadpool Animated Series Finale Script Online

This past weekend, it was reported that FX had opted to cancel the Deadpool animated series from Donald Glover. In a world that’s greatly anticipating the upcoming film sequel, it was quite the sad day. But would this show be any good? Deadpool can be a difficult character to write for, so who knows, right? Given that the series is never happening, we’ll never know, right?

Maybe not. Donald Glover took to Twitter to release the script for the series finale page-by-page. You can check it out down below!

The episode follows Deadpool, who has been hired to keep the last male rhino safe from poachers. If you’ve been keeping up with the news, you’ll know that the last male rhino died a few days ago (something tells me Glover wrote this script last night…), so they’re clearly capitalizing on that.

For most of the script, Deadpool is by himself with the rhino, talking to himself — this is honestly the only episode that can live off the chattiness of a single character. There are a lot of hilarious gags throughout, such as the volatility of Bitcoin and the current debate as to whether or not teachers should be armed.

All in all, it’s a funny script and is an indication that Glover and co. were NOT holding back.

What did you think of the script? Let us know down below!
