So far on Titans we have been introduced to Raven, Robin, Starfire, few shots here and there of Beast Boy as well as Hawk and Dove. Now in their fourth episode that will be released this Friday, get ready to be introduced to what DC Comics has long called their “strangest heroes” the Doom Patrol.

The misfit medical experiments of heroes will be making their live-action television debut in the self-titled episode “Doom Patrol” where we will see Garfield (Beast Boy), bringing a fleeing Rachel home to his adoptive family the Doom Patrol. Also in this episode, we will see Kory confronting Dick about his ongoing anger issues that stem from his relationship with Batman. This episode written by Geoff Johns will feature Niles Caulder aka the Chief played by Bruno Bichir, Rita Farr aka Elastigirl played by April Bowlby, Clifford Steele aka Robotman played by Jake Michaels and Negative Man played by Dwain Murphy. It is interesting to note that only Bowlby will be reprising her role as Elastigirl in the upcoming 2019 series Doom Patrol. With Niles Caulder’s character being played by Timothy Dalton, Robotman by Brendan Fraser and Negative Man by Matt Bomer.

This is a very interesting point in the series to introduce the Doom Patrol Characters. We have gotten a lot of information about both Rachel, Dick and some on Kory but nothing much on Garfield. With this being his adoptive family, hopefully, we can finally get a better look at one of many people’s favorite Teen Titan, Beast Boy. The pacing of this series although slow for some, has allowed it to really focus on the people behind the heroes we all know and love. Which in my opinion has made it a great series to watch.
