Marvel has a detective series in development, Doomsday reshoots have wrapped with Liz Olsen rumored, plus she’s spotted in London. That’s today’s slice of Barside Buzz and we will begin with Avengers: Doomsday. According to many scoopers the film has been doing reshoots recently and Secret Wars won’t begin until next month.
Daniel RPK has been saying on his Patreon that some of the scenes they are shooting are for big name cameos that were not in the main film. We have rumors of several actors being in and around London. One actor fans might be pleased to hear is rumored is Wanda, aka Elizabeth Olsen. Daniel says that she is in London for this purpose and maybe even staying around for Secret Wars.
We can actually semi-verify this as you can see in the social media post shared. The Tik Tok creator confirms flying in the same plane with Olsen as she made her way to London. Given Olsen has recently had a child, this could be first gig since, or of course she could be flying to London for a break whilst the dad stays home, who knows? However, it’s likely Wanda will return.

Finally today Daniel says he’s heard that a detective series is in development at Marvel Studios. Many fans speculate this could be a Jessica Jones reboot now she’s back in the MCU. However, Daniel did reply to some of those fans saying if that’s the case then he doesn’t know, or wasn’t told.
It would however make a lot of sense and it feels like the kind of show Marvel can pull off within budget for the streaming side. My only hope would be better writing than we got in Jessica Jones Season 2 or 3, which for me were both really poor shows. Yet, it could be anything and it’s not much to go on.
