A Dune teaser is imminent.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been eager to get a peek at the new Dune movie. Yes, we’ve had some images hit, along with some comments from the talent involved, but not much else. This is an adaptation of one of the biggest sci-fi franchises of all-time, and Denis Villeneuve is one of the most interesting modern filmmakers out there. I may not have been nuts about Blade Runner 2049, but there’s no denying his directorial chops.

So, when will we be seeing more Dune? Well, a new post from Trailer-Track indicates it could come sooner rather than later. According to them, a foreign theater chain recently indicated that they would be getting Dune and Wonder Woman 1984 trailers in conjunction with an Inception re-release.

That re-release is due to happen on August 12 in Portugal ahead of its August 21 release in the U.S. Perhaps most importantly, it’s set to happen well ahead of Tenet’s release…whenever that’ll eventually be. But don’t get too excited yet. Warner Bros. has a history of not releasing trailers online right away. In fact, we never got that first official Tenet teaser online.

Trailer-Track speculates we’ll be getting trailers during the DC FanDome event on August 22. I’m not so sure about Dune personally, but Wonder Woman 1984 does make a lot of sense.

I can’t wait to see what Denis Villeneuve has in store for us with Dune. I have no idea if we’re actually going to see the movie any time soon, but I’m down to see whatever I can whenever I can. What about you? Are you as thrilled to see a Dune teaser as I am? Sound off down below!
