Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Super Bowl Spot Revealed

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

As we inch closer and closer to the Super Bowl, studios have been releasing their expensive Super Bowl spots so they can get a little more value for their trailers. It’s no different for the upcoming Paramount Pictures film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

On Friday morning they released their “Big Game Spot” as they call it. You can check it out below!

This trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is very focused on the action. As a fan of the role-playing game, you know that it’s just one part of a much bigger game. But being that it’s trying to appeal to the masses spotlighting all of the chaos and action sequences is probably the way to go.

The trailers before had been a little more light-hearted as being that a lot of the interactions during a session are many time kind of whacky despite fighting a dragon or encountering a mimic while trying to loot an area. But in this spot with the limited time they had, it was all action. Hopefully, that attracts some more people to the box office at the end of March.

Here is the synopsis for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves:

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.  Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.

The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley. Based on the screenplay by them as well as Michael Gilio. It stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, and Hugh Grant.

Paramount Pictures’ Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves rolls for initiative in theaters on March 31.
