While the eighth season of HBO’s wildly popular Game of Thrones won’t premiere until sometime next year, one of the show’s cast members has shot the final scene for her character. Emilia Clarke, who plays fan favorite Daenerys Targaryen, has shot the Mother of Dragon’s final on-screen moment. Don’t take this as a spoiler that Daenerys dies, it simply means the actress has shot all the necessary scenes for her character. Clarke recently spoke with Vanity Fair and expressed how finishing shooting made her feel.
“It f–ked me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…”
Wow, Clarke’s words imply our beloved Queen may have done something very unlike her character, something the character and fans may regret. As you can read about in the RELATED section above, Clarke has already spoken about how the end of Game of Thrones will be divisive, and at this point, I don’t think fans expect anything less. So many possibilities as to what Clarke may be referring to, whatever it is, it seems very dark. Let the speculation begin!
Game of Thrones sure to be epic final season will air next year.
