Emma Bell On Being in a Play-like Comedy With The Argument [Exclusive Interview]

Emma Bell wants to take on more comedic projects, which rarely comes her way.

In The Argument, a couple replays a dinner scene with friends over and over again to settle a disagreement. Every repeatable scene, the hilarity ensues with each moment.

The indie film stars Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts franchise), Emma Bell (The Walking Dead, Final Destination 5), Danny Pudi (Mythic Quest, Community), Maggie Q (Divergent franchise, Live Free Die Hard), Cleopatra Coleman (In the Shadow of the Moon, The Last Man on Earth), and Tyler James Williams (Dear White People, Detroit). Other supporting cast members included Charlotte McKinney (Fantasy Island, Flat Liners), Karan Brar (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Marielle Scott (Lady Bird), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Mope), and Mark Ryder (Borgia).

Robert Schwartzman (Dreamland, The Unicorn) directed the film from a script written by Zac Stanford.

LRM Online exclusively interviewed Emma Bell on her rare opportunity to be in a comedy. She talked about the delights of being on an indie production working alongside the funniest people in show business.

Bell has a strong fanbase from horror fans for starring in films such as Frozen and Final Destination 5. Her fandom status elevated playing Amy Harrison in season one of AMC’s The Walking Dead. In recent years, she guest-starred in television series such as NCIS, Lucifer, Designated Survivor, and Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. Also, she starred in the television series Dallas as Emma Brown and then in Freeform’s Relationship Status as Claire.

The Argument is currently playing in select theaters and available On Demand by Gravitas Ventures.
