Eternals To Be Shown Early At Rome Film Festival?

Eternals to be shown early at Rome Film Festival? It looks like it if a translation of Marvel’s Victoria Alonso holds up. Alonso appeared on Argentinian radio Here. However unless you speak fluent Spanish, you may struggle with the translation. Like me, I am awful at any language outside of English. Thankfully a social media post below has done the job for those as ignorant as I am.

As Eternals News so rightly says, there really is only a few options here. The only Italian film festival in October is the Rome International Film Festival which kicks off on October 14th. Equally the only Marvel movie in a finished enough state to show is Eternals. You also get the feeling that Marvel fancies Eternals to be a bit of a critical darling, and as such a festival debut makes sense.

However there are also spoiler concerns for a practice like this. No doubt, someone lucky enough to see Eternals in Rome will decide to spill the entire plot online. I know there are supposed plot summaries out there and there’s one or two I happen to think are legit. However that’s not quite the same as having someone literally spoil the whole movie online and everyone knowing it is 100% correct.

Unless the translation is way out, or Alonso was misquoted, which seems unlikely, then there really is no other explanation I can think of? It does look like Eternals to be shown early at Rome Film Festival. Probably sometime around October 14th. Eternals will release to the rest of us Internationally on November 5th. However that’s a couple of weeks to try an avoid spoilers, and I have a feeling spoilers will matter with Eternals.

What do you think of this news? As always, leave any Eternals thoughts you have below.
