Ewan McGregor’s Reactions To That Solo Cameo

Ray Park, who most Star Wars fans know is the actor who portrayed Darth Maul, recently appeared on The Star Wars Show and discussed his character’s cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story. While speaking on the show Park talked about Ewan McGregor’s reaction to his cameo, and said that  McGregor was very excited to see Maul. I tried to pull a quote from the video, but decided instead to cue it up for you readers and after you watch it, you’ll understand why I didn’t quote Park on McGregor’s reaction.

Of course, the two are old friends having worked together on Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. And if you are a fan of Star Wars Rebels, you know their characters are actually sort of friends as well. One of the highlights of the prequels was the three-way lightsaber duel involving McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, Park’s Darth Maul, and of course Liam Neesom’s Qui Gonn Jinn. Will the two ever meet on screen again in a live-action setting? It’s possible, though we haven’t heard much from Disney on upcoming Star Wars projects lately.

Also, there is an awesome scene from Solo at the end of the video, which I have cued up for you here.

Does it warm your heart to know Ewan McGregor is still excited about Star Wars? Let us know in the comments down below!
