Over the course of eight seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead we have seen characters age and grow up, we’ve watched communities be both built and destroyed. Have you ever wondered how long all of this took to play out? Well, we now have an official count from the official Walking Dead Twitter account. You can check out the post below

So how much time real time has passed during the eight seasons of the show? 632 days.
Of course fans have already brought up how much Carl has aged in what amounts to less than two years. Rick also looks much older himself, which is understandable because all of the actors are getting close to a decade of being on the show. The timeline doesn’t make much sense to me, if one of you understand it better, please explain in the comments.
I am done complaining (for now) about the show’s last couple of seasons, and am actually starting to get excited for Season 9, and hope the show can return to something resembling its former self. The time jump has perked my interest. No vehicles, only horses, and it looks as if the word of TWD has actually started making progress toward a society resembling something before the apocalypse.
