Tuesday brought with it an interesting and random bit of news. Ezra Miller, who plays the Flash in the DC Extended Universe, was the centerpiece of a recently-surfaced video. The video showed Miller confronting a woman, saying “Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” As the woman smiled, he grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and carried her to the ground. The cameraman then dropped the camera to, presumably, assist in the scuffle.

The video was odd on a number of levels. The woman never seemed to think she was in jeopardy, Miller seemed to carry her softly to the ground, and it just felt like it was awkwardly staged. Well, we have a few more details to share about the whole thing. 

Variety confirmed that the incident took place at a trendy bar in Reykjavik called Prikið Kaffihús. Miller reportedly frequents it when in-town, and there have been no previous incidents prior to the one in question. One source at the bar said that Miller was confronted by a group of fans who were “quite pushy.” Apparently, Miller lost his temper with the woman in the seven-second video.

Miller was then escorted off the premises of the bar by the staff and was “upset and angry.” 

When the video first popped up on social media, fan outcry was predictable. Many called for the “cancellation” of the Justice League star. As is usually the case with things that surface online, there was little information, but that didn’t stop from many fans calling for swift retribution. But will there actually be any action taken here?

Not from the sound of it. TheWrap spoke with spokesman for the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police Gunnar, Rúnar Sveinbjörnsson, who stated there was no call about the altercation and now injuries reported. Of course, none of this means that the incident didn’t warrant a call, but unless something changes, it doesn’t sound like any legal action will be taken against the actor.
