Falcon And The Winter Soldier Creator Says Joaquin Torres Has A Bigger Role To Play

Falcon and the Winter Soldier introduced us to Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) in the very first action sequence of the series. He worked with Sam Wilson from the ground and brought the Flagsmashers to Wilson’s attention.

Torres appeared again in the second episode to aid Falcon and the Winter Soldier as support when the pair went after the antagonistic organization.

As a comics fan, I know Joaquin Torres. The Mexican-born character goes on to become Falcon when Sam Wilson is finally given the Shield and becomes Captain America. Torres even has a history with Powerbroker, a character name-checked in the second episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
