Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood looks to be a love letter to the film industry that only he could ever create. The film takes place in 1969 — the twilight of an old era of the industry and the dawn of a new one. Based on the filmmaker’s body of work, it’s also arguably the most influential decade, where cynical auteurs really dominated, with the advent of the blockbuster still almost a decade away.
The film features an all-star cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt — both Tarantino alums — in lead roles. Leonardo DiCaprio plays an aging western star, and Pitt plays his best friend and stunt double. But if you’ve been using your imagination to picture just how the pair would look side by side, wonder no more, as DiCaprio has released a photo showing the two off.

Gotta love the effect of solid costuming. While you may not immediately see “film industry” while seeing these two, you do see two distinct personalities. One man is the pampered, rich one, and the other is the low-key, blue collar worker. Between their stances and costume, you already get a sense of who they are as people, which is one hell of a good start.
