Good news for Daredevil fans as the latest Barside Buzz says Foggy and Karen are back in the rejigged Daredevil: Born Again. If you recall, during the strikes the decision was made to replace the writers and directors on Daredevil: Born Again. We do know all the insiders agreed that there was no Foggy, nor Karen in the previous version of the show. Rumors are that both were said to have died off screen. This rumor, as you can imagine, left fans unhappy.

Now it seems perhaps Marvel heard that criticism and rectified the situation. Quite a few insiders have backed this up, but Jeff Sneider was first to claim both Foggy and Karen were back.

I doubt there are many, if any fans out there who won’t be pleased with this news. Daredevil Season 1-3 was a great show. One of the main attractions of the series was the dynamic between Matt, Foggy and Karen. They dragged him back to his other side as a lawyer when it was needed. I’m not saying Daredevil: Born Again couldn’t have worked without them. However, what we were getting wasn’t impressing Marvel. I feel that the decision to bring these two back is an indication they listened to criticisms of the previous decision.

Don’t get me wrong, having Foggy and Karen back doesn’t mean Born Again is guaranteed to be great. However, it does give me some confidence Marvel are doing what they can to make this show the best it can. There are also more and more hints that the Netflix Defenders shows will be made to feel like MCU canon. How that could be made to work with Fisk and how Season 3 ended though I’m unsure?

Oh and another Born Again rumor to share. It is being reported by another insider, Daniel RPK on his Patreon that Hunter Doohan was offered the role of villain Muse in Born Again. However, whether that remains the case with this new version of the show remains to be seen. RPK also backed up the Foggy and Karen return just FYI.
