With the recent renewal of the long-running show The Simpsons, Fox has also renewed animated shows Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers. The former being the flagship Seth MacFarlane will be returning for an impressive eighteenth season, why the H. Jon Benjamin led Bob’s Burgers will be moving into double digits with its tenth season.

The general feeling I get from what I hear and what I read is that Family Guy has more than run its course, as has The Simpsons, and most people I know can’t believe that Bob’s Burgers has made it this far. All I can say is that there is probably a little bit of truth in all the above statements, however, Family Guy is still funnier than a lot of things on television, The Simpsons has earned its place, and more people should give Bob’s Burgers a chance. The humor is unique for sure, buy if you find you match up with it, or that you simply can’t get enough of H. Jon Benjamin’s voice, you may find you like it.

I do stay current on both of these shows. Neither of them are a priority for me, but I do have days where I binge them until I am caught up. Very different styles of humor between the two shows, but I can appreciate both.
