In Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem, the young witches with Catherine Lough Haggquist’s General Petra Bellweather prepare to make one final showdown against the Camarilla.
With only a couple of episodes left, Haggquist spoke with LRM Online about the rest of the season and the final farewell of this beloved franchise.
The supernatural drama, created by Eliot Laurence, follows three witches conscripted into the U.S. Army to train in combat magic with their vocal cords. They battle other supernatural enemies with the Spree and the non-magical users of the Camarilla in this alternate reality. The time is ticking as all three groups collide in one final battle.
The series star Taylor Hickson, Amalia Holm, Demetria McKinney, Jessica Sutton, Ashley Nicole Williams, and Lyne Renée.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with actress Catherine Lough Haggquist on her role as General Petra Bellweather as the series closed with a couple of episodes left. We spoke about what she missed and what surprised her about the show. Also, we talked about her other acting and entrepreneurial projects.
Catherine Lough Haggquist has over 125 acting credits, including three seasons as Inspector Nora Harris in the sci-fi television series Continuum. She had recurring roles in Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Supernatural, and Motherland: Fort Salem. In addition, she appeared in films such as Alone in the Dark, Scoob-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Tron: Legacy, Godzilla, and Fifty Shades Freed.
Motherland: Fort Salem is currently on Freeform and streaming on Hulu.
