And yet another celebrity has joined the cast of the Jay and Silent Bob reboot. This time it’s none other than Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth. That’s right, the god of thunder will be joining the Viewaskew Universe. Hemsworth is the latest in a long line of Hollywood folks to come aboard the film, including Jason Biggs, James Van Der Beek, rappers Method Man and Redman, along with Joey Lauren Adams and Rosario Dawson.

With 2019 being full of blockbusters such as Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and (while it’s not a film), the eighth season of Game of Thrones (which premiered Sunday night) is at the top of many nerds’ must watch list, the Jay and Silent Bob reboot will be something that may get temporarily lost in the shuffle of everything else, but will resurface to be a pleasant surprise in the midst of all the high budget productions, and give us all a chance to sit back, relax, and laugh for an hour and a half, taking a break from the high intensity of the aforementioned films.
