More Star Wars news as it’s being reported that when Disney+ gets in full motion later this year, the episodes of the first ever live-action Star Wars series, the highly anticipated The Mandalorian, won’t all be released at once in the way that Netflix releases their shows.
Well this is a bummer, I know I would probably binge the entire show straight through, as would many other Star Wars nerds. The news comes from Anthony Breznican, a reporter at Entertainment Weekly, is the one who posted on his Twitter account. You can check out the post for yourselves below.

Now this information doesn’t come directly from Disney, so it’s best to wait for official word. Perhaps Disney could look into a premium Disney+ subscrption that would allow the user the option to binge a show all the way through, or maybe even an extra one-time fee to unlock the rest of the episodes (this is something I wish HBO would do for Game of Thrones).
It’s also possible that once Disney fills their streaming service with more original content, that binging may become available. As for now it seems likely, at least going off what Breznican said, that The Mandalorian will have a weekly released schedule.
You can check out an official synopsis for The Mandalorian below.
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
