Funkoville Returns To San Diego Comic-Con With Double The Footprint Of Last Year

Funkoville is returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2023!

Funko has revealed what they have in store for the mecca of pop culture. This includes an expansion to Funkoville. They say that this massive neighborhood-like experience is going to be double the footprint of Comic-Con 2022 which was already a huge space.

They will be bringing the ever so popular brands including Funko, Funko Games, Loungefly, Mondo, and more! All attendees at the show will be able to walk through Funkoville.

Part of the fun of Funkoville will be the interactive neighborhood experience with branded storefronts. They will include a donut shop, bowling alley, Loungefly boutique, and Mondo gas station. These will be the spots for the new and exclusive pop culture collectibles fans go crazy over.

Another new addition to Funkoville will be the Blockbuster Rewind video store. Here fans will be able to time travel back to the 90s and relive the nostalgia of visiting a video rental store. All while browsing the company’s new innovative collectibles based on iconic films. It will showcase the first collection of the new VHS-themed collectibles in collaboration with Blockbuster.

For 25 years, Funko has been a fan-first company,” said Brian Mariotti, Chief Executive Officer of Funko. “This is why San Diego Comic-Con is a pinnacle moment for us every year, as it provides the opportunity to create memorable moments for our fans through larger-than-life activations.
