Game of Thrones Fan Imagines An Alternate Season 8

Whether you’re happy with the final season or not, in just a few days, Game of Thrones will be over. The show’s eighth season has drawn a good deal of criticism, but from what I can gather, it’s more so over the pace of the season as opposed to the story being told, and that’s my issue with it. However, there are some events fans would have liked to have seen. One fan bejamindewey took to his Instagram account to for the only do-over of Season 8 that we will get. You can check out his ideas below.

Some nice thoughts here, I especially like the actual farewell between Jon and Ghost, and the rescue mission by Arya, The Hound, and Greyworm. Oh, and who wouldn’t want to see Bran and the Night King engage in a mind battle. While the petition to remake Season 8 has reached, last time I checked anyway, over 500K signatures (the most I’ve ever seen), it’s not going to happen, petitions never work.

I will reserve my full judgment until Sunday and see if Benioff and Weiss have something up their sleeves, but I do sit in the camp of, “Why did D&D rush this thing?” I’m not saying GoT sucks now, I’m just saying it could have been so much better.
