The Godzilla and Kong rumored villain is…SpaceGodzilla! A bit, well, out there if you ask me. We’ve known for a while a sequel to Godzilla Vs Kong was in development and clearly the pair will work together to take on another threat. There has been much speculation about who that threat may be. Mecha King Gidhorra? Nope, according to Wartsu, it is SpaceGodzilla.
Fans will recall that the original SpaceGodzilla had an uncertain origin. Something to do with shared DNA with another villain named Biollante. This was a hybrid with both plant and Godzilla DNA. As such, the MonsterVerse version of SpaceGodzilla is said to also contain plant DNA.
Warstu says that the character will use plant matter to evolve throughout the film. Many of these different evolutions will go unstopped by Kong. Eventually, Kong and Godzilla have to face SpaceGodzilla together towards the end of the film after the creature manages to absorb Kong’s ax.

Now, I’m not a huge Kaiju fan, but I have kinda enjoyed all these MonsterVerse movie thus far. I mean it’s essentially just big CGI monster going at it. That being said, the idea of SpaceGodzilla leaves me apathetic. Perhaps that’s because I don’t really remember the bad guy from the old movies?
Of course we always need to take this with a pinch of salt for now. Though it’s worth noting security on a film like this is not quite at Marvel and Star Wars levels, so leaks can and will happen for these movies as history has shown. Ergo, there is a good chance this information is legit if you want my opinion?
