Godzilla: Get A Last Look At The King Of Monsters Before The Film Hits Next Week

Godzilla is coming, and he’s bringing hell with him. By Hell, I mean three other titan monsters will be throwing down with the King on the big screen starting May 31st. I am really excited about this movie but saddened I have to see it alone as my wife doesn’t like Kaiju or Giant Mecha and my son is too young to sit through a movie without bright colors, a talking cat, or lego characters.

We’ve had quite a few trailers and TV spots for the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but this one feels cheesy. The “Momma Said Knock You Out” song in the background makes me think of the 90s and that reminds me of the 1998 Godzilla featuring Matthew Broderick. I don’t want to be reminded of that film!

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-speciesthought to be mere mythsrise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanitys very existence hanging in the balance.
