Have you checked out the trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters yet? Hot on the heels of the latest trailer, Legendary Pictures has released some new character posters. But of course, this is Godzilla and we really don’t care as much about the Human characters do we? Hopefully those in charge at Legendary have realised that with this latest sequel movie.

Behold the Antagonists of Godzilla in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Rodan

Mothra

King Ghidorah

And finally a poster of Godzilla we have already shared previously.

The stage is set for an epic showdown between Godzilla and the other Titans. The trailer certainly looks like it is going to be a lot more action-packed with monsters than Godzilla was. Though it does appear to have a similar tone to the first Godzilla movie as opposed to the tonally very different Kong: Skull Island. How will they resolve the tonal differences when Godzilla Vs Kong arrives in 2020, well I guess we shall see.

Here is the latest official synopsis for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters smashes his way into theaters on May 31.

Are you looking forward to this sequel, or just think those posters are cool anyway? Clash with the other monsters below in the comments section as always.
