According to the folks over at Bespin Bulletin, the Grammar Rodeo mystery Star Wars project has begun pre-production ahead of filming. This show, originally thought to be a movie, wrongly, has never been officially announced. However if you have been following all the rumors we have been sharing or contributing to, then you’ll know there are some leaked details around the show I’ll recap on farther down. What we do know for sure is that a project with the working title Grammar Rodeo, a name we’ve confirmed from our sources is gearing up to film.
Here is what the outlet had to say.
The series is just a few short months away from the start of filming, but I’ve been informed and can now exclusively reveal that the show has been in pre-production for a small number of weeks at a studio in Culver City, California where sets are being prepared ahead of the June start. The series is also due to film at Manhattan Beach Studios where The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, all filmed primarily for their respective series, and houses a volume.
Despite pre-production in Culver City beginning, Lucasfilm have yet to confirm to acknowledge the existence of the Grammar Rodeo series at this time, however I am of the belief that the series could be announced on May the 4th, or at Star Wars Celebration later that same month.

As you can find (beginning of the rabbit hole) in the related link above, we do know a little about this upcoming show. BB, Jordan Maison and ourselves had leaked a few details around this show. We also have casting calls that were shared by The Illuminerdi which match what we are hearing. Essentially, this show is set in the High Republic and will predominantly star a young cast of characters playing 12 year old’s. Maison described the show as ‘Stranger Things in Space’. Whilst all we have heard is that the show is set in the High Republic and is starring a cast of mostly kids. Those casting calls were also all for kids and connecting these together in my mind solidifies these rumors.
The show may not be official, but we have 4 very good sources (I may be biased including is in the 4, but I’m still saying it) all hearing things that connect to one another about the show.
We are still a little bit of time away from filming. The rumored schedule for this show is Spring to Winter for filming to take place. As Bespin says above, I think we are going to get an announcement about this show at Star Wars Celebration or earlier.
So, the Grammar Rodeo mystery Star Wars project begins pre-production. Leave any thoughts you have on this rumored High Republic show below.
