Halo: Infinite Campaign Trailer Sets Expectations For Release

Halo: Infinite Campaign Trailer Sets Expectations For Release

The biggest Halo game yet! That’s the promise in the new Halo: Infinite campaign trailer which you can see below. Halo: Infinite‘s multiplayer has been available for over a week now and I have dabbled, in the training mode and one online game, where I got pumped with lead. However I’ve never been that much of a PVP kind of gamer anyway. What I always did love about the Halo games though was the campaign. The Halo: Infinite campaign will launch on December 8th. That’s a week today.

So here is a small glimpse of what to expect come next Wednesday.

I still find it weird seeing that Ai and yet knowing it’s not Cortana. Where is Cortana? There’s so many questions I have and my only hope is that the story takes a leap forward. Gameplay is essential, but in addition I did also fall in love with the story of the Halo Universe. In Halo 5, I felt like the story took a major backseat to gameplay and as a result I think I only played the game through once.

Halo: Infinite will release on both Xbox and PC only, and the game is also day one release for subscribers of Xbox Game Pass. It also appears as the the campaign will receive content updates as well as the Multiplayer modes going forward. Which hopefully should encourage more than one playthrough for campaign only folks like myself.

I do have a quandary though, and that’s due to Halo‘s creator Bungie releasing a new paid Dungeon for Destiny 2 on December 7th. I will absolutely be playing and completing Halo‘s campaign mode. However, I may have to fit it in between my Destiny 2 sessions depending on how much content we get. I’ve paid for that expansion already, and hey Halo: Infinite isn’t going anywhere as I’m a Game Pass subscriber anyway.

Looks like I picked the wrong month to give up shooting alien scum.
