For many teens, summers are fun and a waste of time. For one teen in Hanna Ha Ha, she discovers the responsibilities of taking a job may be even more wasteful.

Here is the synopsis for Hannah Ha Ha:

Hannah, a kind-hearted townie, spends her days caring for her aging father and working various odd jobs around her hometown. After the arrival of her careerist and overbearing older brother, she finds herself suddenly torn by the influences and opinions of those around her As she struggles to choose between her fulfilling, community-oriented lifestyle and a more unsatisfying but secure path, she is forced to consider what truly matters most in her life.

The cast includes Hannah Lee Thompson, Roger Mancusi, Avram Tetewsky, Charlie Robinson, Jake Stern, Petr Favazza, Peter Cole, and Chuck Fazzio. Jordan Tetewsky and Joshua Pikovsky directed and wrote the story for the movie.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with the cast and crew of Hannah Ha Ha that included the lead actress Hannah Lee Thompson, actor/producer Roger Mancusi, producer Emily Freire, director/screenwriter Jordan Tetewsky and director/screenwriter Joshua Pilovsky.

We discussed the major differences of the feature film with its previous short film, the small town, the character Hannah, and the challenges on production for an indie film like this.

Hannah Lee Thompson made her acting debut in the short film Hannah Ha Ha and later reprised her role in the feature film of the same title.

Roger Mancusi is the producer of this film and makes his feature film acting debut. He appeared in the series Spare Me and in the short film Ten Dollar Funeral.

The directing due of Joshua Pikovsky and Jordan Tetewsky developed numerous short films that included Sharon 66, Bergmensch, and Hannah Ha Ha. The feature film Hannah Ha Ha makes it their feature film directorial debut.

Emily Freire is a co-producer on Hannah Ha Ha. Other credit includes producing in the upcoming movie titled Fade In.

Hannah Ha Ha made its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival 2022.
