Come April 14, fans of HBO’s Game of Thrones are going to he get one big helping of bittersweetness in the form of the final season of what many consider to be the best television show of all time. After nearly a two year wait, fans will finally learn who will rule Westeros and sit on the Iron Throne.

HBO President Casey Bloys recently spoke with Deadline and did his best to reassure fans that that the finale showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have made is going set well with fans. You can check out what he had to say below.

“The only thing I will say as a fan of the show is that I think the guys have done a brilliant job of ending the show in a dramatically satisfying and emotionally satisfying way. I do believe that fans are going to be really really happy with how it all wraps up.”

Weiss also commented on the show’s final battle.

“As with all things Game of Thrones, there is a lot of speculation. All I can tell you as part of this season, is it is all spectacular.”

For now, speculation is all we have, and seeing that Game of  Thrones has left me absolutely shocked on more than one occasion, I really have no idea which direction the show will go, though I cannot wait to find out.
