Hulu Unveils Trailer For New Dramedy ‘The Best Heart Attack Of My Life’

Hulu has released the official trailer for its upcoming original series, “The Best Heart Attack of My Life”, a heartfelt dramedy inspired by real-life events. The six-episode first season, based on the acclaimed book by Argentine author Hernán Casciari, is set to premiere on Friday, January 24, 2025. International viewers can also stream the series on Disney+.

Developed by Pampa Films and Tandem Films, “The Best Heart Attack of My Life” follows Ariel, a frustrated ghostwriter whose life takes an unexpected turn after suffering a heart attack while staying in a temporary rental house abroad. The traumatic yet transformative experience becomes a catalyst for change—not only in Ariel’s life but also for the people around him. The series promises a blend of humor, heartbreak, and hope, offering viewers a unique exploration of human connection and personal growth.

The series is inspired by Casciari’s own experience, which he recounted on radio and various media after surviving a heart attack in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 2015. Directed by Pablo E. Bossi, with co-direction by Mariana Wainstein, the series was written by Lucas Figueroa in collaboration with María Zanetti and Wainstein. Filmed across Argentina, Uruguay, and Spain, the production brings authenticity and a rich cultural backdrop to the story.
