Hulu’s Am I Being Unreasonable? | Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli on British Dark Comedy Series

The British certainly have really dark, twisted humor with the BBC comedy series Am I Being Unreasonable? that is now streaming on Hulu.

The series is written by, and star Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli and earned four BAFTA TV nominations this year, including for Scripted Comedy and Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for Cooper.

Other cast members included Jessica Hynes (There She Goes), Dustin Demri-Burns (Cardinal Burns, The Great), Amanda Wilkin (The Split), David Fynn (Game of Thrones), Juliet Cowan (Back to Life), Ruben Catt (Ted’s Top Ten), and Karla Crome (Under the Dome).

Here is the brief synopsis:

Nic (Daisy May Cooper) is grieving a loss that she can’t share with anyone while stuck in a depressing marriage. Only her son, Ollie (Lenny Rush), who she adores, keeps her going. But when Jen (Selin Hizli) arrives in town, her life is lit up with laughter, and through this kindred soul, her dark secret starts to bubble up.
