Today we share some Indiana Jones 5 set videos from the Glasgow shoot taking place right now in my home of Scotland. One of my local radio stations, based in Glasgow, has been posting updates for anything they have spotted being filmed.
Currently, we know only a little about what is being filmed. Glasgow is taking the place of 1969 New York City during the ticket rape parade for the returning Apollo 11 astronauts. However, what is actually happening during this scene, what relevance it has to the plot, etc.? Your guess is a good as anyone’s right now.
The videos you can see below courtesy of Radio Clyde News, don’t really answer any details. It just looks so far like lots of shots standing in for NYC, including Yellow Cabs. Check them out below.

As the shoot progresses though, perhaps we may get a better idea of what relevance this parade has to the plot? There are rumors that Mads Mikkelsen is playing a NASA scientist and former Nazi. However why would anyone be interested in the ticker tape parade? Is it possible that this event will be the backdrop for some kind of chase sequence or an action scene?

Alternatively perhaps Indiana Jones 5 is connected to Quantum Leap and will see Indy leap about time solving problems….. Yeah, I’ve heard someone claim that was legit. Truth is we just don’t know and nothing in these videos, cool as they are to see, help us out.
