Infinity War IMAX Poster: That’s Not A Stone, That’s An Ant(-Man)!

With Hawkeye still nowhere to be found, fans think they have found Ant-Man on the IMAX poster for Avengers: Infinity War. In fact, fans are seeing him in two different places.

First, reddit user TopherGray thought they spotted Ant-Man on the ‘A’ in the Avengers logo. Take a look for yourself, though this one is pretty sketchy:

Next, we have something that may very well poke a hole in our Infinity Gauntlet theory from earlier today. Bosslogic on Instagram made a hell of a compelling argument, with images, that it is actually Ant-Man clinging to the thumb on Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, not a third Infinity Stone as we proposed earlier.

So… what do you think? Ant-Man is totally on Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, isn’t he? Then again, this could be another Face on Mars situation, where we’re just seeing shapes where we want to.

Like Hawkeye and several other characters we know will be in the film, Ant-Man has been left out of all marketing for Avengers: Infinity War. Now, though we do not know when it is set, Ant-Man and the Wasp comes out this July, between Infinity War and Avengers 4. Perhaps he hasn’t been featured as heavily to avoid confusion? Though it seems like a great chance to cross-promote, like filling the Infinity War trailer full of the super popular occupants of Wakanda.
