Ininity War Directors Would Have Loved To Have Used This Character

Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War recently spoke with GamesRadar and when asked what character they wished they could have included in Infinity War, it was no surprise that they brought up Wolverine. While that is something that may be possible in the not so distant future, unfortunately, the timing just didn’t line up to bring the Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine into the fold.

Joe Russo:

“Let’s open it up to favorite Marvel characters, It would probably be Wolverine. My joke answer is always Groo the Wanderer. Frankly, I used to collect Groo as a kid.”

Anthony Russo:

“Yeah, maybe one day. We could be close.”

With everything Marvel has built over the last 10 years, it sure would have been nice to include one of their most popular superheroes, and arguably one of the best-portrayed characters from comic books into the biggest superhero movie ever. I’m not sure what it would take to convince Hugh Jackman to return, even for a small cameo, but I think it is worth a shot. The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, having an X-Men Character, especially Wolverine, would have been the icing on an already delicious superhero cake.

The answer to me is an obvious yes, but would you have liked to see Wolverine in Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know in the comments down below!
